the bvs and indices comparison report enables a detailed comparison of breeding values or alternate forms of performance data for selected traits and entities note that in the absence of any recorded analyses, no selection criteria will be displayed step 1 select the analysis of interest results for breeding value and performance data are classified according to analysis name and date in the simple example shown below, results from two separate analyses are available on the data, with results from the e regnans validation 2018 analysis including genomic breeding values for diameter growth, height growth and wood density step 2 view and filter results results are presented in tabular and graphical format tabular format results for selected entities and traits are displayed according to analysis type (e g estimated or genomic breeding values) with the trait averages for entities included with the analysis shown on the right hand side of the screen note that the bv and indices functionality is still being developed and whilst trait units have been included in the selection trait names, the reporting units for others are still being established graphical format results are also presented in graphical format where in the example shown below entity b001 has positive (above average) bvs for both diameter growth, height growth and wood density, whereas entity b006 has negative (below average) bvs for all note that in this example the average bvs for both trait have deliberately been set to 0, and that range of results for both traits are similar enabling them to be easily viewed side by side in the event that there is a large difference in the average values for different traits within the selection, the selection trait filter should be used to ensure results are appropriately displayed
