the browse trials menu enables easy access and viewing of all information related to trials including trial series trial series , trials trials and traits trial series the trial series menu item enables users to quickly identify the numbers of trials within series, with this information also provided graphically within the interactive trial status report the trial series also provides additional information about the trial series (as provided by the client) including summary information and links to trials included within the series trials the trials option takes you directly into the trial list, from where you can sort, group or filter to find information on any given trial this includes comprehensive summary of trial information such as trial location and design parameters the option to do a direct extract of all raw data pertaining to that trial links to access key data and documents associated with the trial traits the traits menu option enables viewing of the meta data that is used to provide a complete description of traits used within the database this includes, information on trait groups (e g growth, form or health), trait descriptors (code & description) and measurement data (methods and units) note that trait codes are used extensively as column headers within the data extracts whilst every effort has been made to ensure that the trait codes can be used as a proxy for the trait name (description), these codes have been developed in agreement with the users, and can be updated by the database administrators if required
