Date Formats

the date formats in gem are determined by your browsers language by default browsers are set to "english (united states)" which displays dates in the mm/dd/yyyy format the following explains how to change your language settings in your browser chrome step 1 click on the three dots in the top right hand side of your screen and select "settings" step 2 search for "language" and click on the first "language" dropdown option step 3 click on "add language", and check your desired language then click "add" step 4 you should now see the new language appear at the bottom of your list of languages click on the three dots to the right of your new language in the drop down menu click on "move to top" your language should now be chromes default and changed the date formats within gem edge edge follows the exact same process for changing your language as chrome, so refer to the chrome steps the location of options such as "add languages" may be moved slightly between versions
