this allows you to control how screens, pages and/or records are displayed choosing any of these preferences results in corresponding options being auto ticked in the relevant extracts, and can save time and reduce opportunities for forgetting to include something preferred terminology this setting is pre set for each user (dependent on your login address), and users are not able to change this setting extract assistance this determines if you see the 'about this extract' screens when starting an extraction process the 'about this extract' screens provide a short summary about what the extract does "occurrence in trials" when viewing a selection determines if the 'include trials where selection is a parent in a full sib family' is ticked by default in the selection browse screens this appears under 'occurrence in trials' when viewing a selection when this option is selected the list of trials will also include all trials where the selection appears as a parent of a full sib family
